ZooBiotic Ltd, which was formed from the Biosurgical Research Unit, is Wales's newest pharmaceutical company. Based in Bridgend in South Wales the company has recently commissioned an extensive 'state of the art' pharmaceutical clean room complex for the production of sterile larvae used in wound management

This unit is believed to be the largest, most sophisticated larvae production facility in the world within which larvae will be produced under the same conditions as all other sterile pharmaceutical products, in strict compliance with European standards for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

ZooBiotic Ltd's significant financial investment in this new facility confirms the company's commitment to ensuring that the quality of our larvae is paramount, setting the standard for medicinal larvae production world wide. The move to the new facilities has enabled ZooBiotic to introduce a totally new production process which has been shown to improve larvae viability and development.

  1. Exit Junction 35 on the M4 and take the first exit on to A473.
  2. At first roundabout take the first exit and continue along the A473.
  3. At next roundabout take the fifth exit signposted crematorium and Coychurch (B4181). Do NOT turn right into Coychurch village.
  4. Go under the railway bridge and then immediately turn left entering Coychurch Rd.(B4181)
  5. Continue Straight along Coychurch Road and at the first roundabout take the second exit going past the Haywain Pub.
  6. After a further 250 metres as the road bends to the right you take the left hand road also named Coychurch Road. This leads immediately over a railway bridge and you turn left into Dunraven Business Park.
  7. ZooBiotic is a modern green building on the right hand side.
